Elegant Swiss Thorens three-tune music box, circa 1950s–1960s. The exterior is veneered in luxurious burlwood with fine grain figuring, resting on four bun feet. Inside, the mechanism is protected under a glass lid and labeled with the original Thorens song card listing Lohengrin, Bleu Danube, and La Traviata.
The underside is stamped “Made in Switzerland”, with the serial number 230, and the brass movement is engraved “THORENS SWITZERLAND.”
A fine example of Swiss mechanical craftsmanship, this piece blends precise engineering with warm decorative appeal—ideal for collectors of vintage music boxes or mid-century Swiss décor.
